DESCRIPTION:
This is from Modern Bison's first and only release "'i could've had a rustic pagoda'", released in 2006 by Unlabel as part of the Unlabel 52 series. Its number is 38.

The idea of the series was to release one new album in CD format each week in a limited run of 100. The CD contains the regular catalogs from Unlabel as well as a diary slip for that week, which could be sent in to Unlabel for entry into a compilation of entries for the year. Believe it or not, boxsets are still available and can be found here: (http://www.unlabel.net/series52.htm). I bought just the one CD. My copy is 39/100.

Modern Bison, a live band from what I can tell, played in Manchester in October of 2005. They play mathy post-rock in the vein of Slint's Spiderland. Two of the members went on to form the math-pop group Everything Everything.
