Corey Darnell Thomas was born to Jerry and Gloria Thomas. The day was August 21st, 1976 at Oakland's Highland Hospital. He lived a very musical life growing up and by the tender age of 13, he began to feel a passion for music. Being that mom and dad shared the same passion as singers themselves, their melodious influences were inevitable. When little Corey first heard The Boys singing Dial My Heart, it helped convince him to take a pathway toward the music industry.

By the age of fifteen, now known as Caprice, he launched a career. ("DEF MC", only my true folks know what that's about!!) Performing in various talent shows in the area (i.e. The Berkeley Square Theatre) and even the outer stage set up at the KMEL Summer Jam. He's performed at local clubs such as Mingles and Sweet Jimmie's to crowd sizes most people would freeze up to! But he did his thang and so it began.

His 'worked-with' resumé boasts such headliners as E-40, Tony!Toni!Tone!, Too $hort, Traxamillion, MC Ren, DJ Quik, BTnH, Harm, Hoodstarz, Suga Free, and David Banner to name a few. As well as Turf Talk, F.A.B., Rappin' 4Tay, King George, Turf Talk, Tha Team, Thump, Dwayne Wiggins, Sean-T, Lo Key, Bavgate, Jayo Felony, B-Legit, Keak, Jon Nash, Tron Treezy, 3 X Krazy, 3 Way Funk & Askari X.the list goes on and on.

As mentioned before, Caprice has done many projects with various artists. Among his favorites were DJ Quik, Bone Thugs, David Banner, and the bay's own Tony!Toni!Tone!, E-40, 4Tay & Keak da Sneak. But Caprice has other appearances around the bay. He appeared on such underground albums as Paranoid, Real Muthafucka, Straight Slump, Maximum Overdrive, Getcha Money and more.

He was also on the group album, BJB (Brookfield Jungle Boyz) on Shuddem Down Records. Other compilations included the independent label solo album, Platinums Of A Rapper on Bay Mob Records. Over 3,000 scans (to date) and considered a rare and hot item to have!

But as far as recent activity, ya boy has been on lockdown in his lab with RICH BOY tha SUPAH~PRODUCAH drummin' up Operation: Occupation and the next mixtape (Jack Tha Rapperz) for ya listenin' pleasure. Call 510-395-4648 to order this or any of his other CD's now.

"Are you looking for the next BIG thing? I'M IT! Book me for your next event!" *82-510-395-I'm-It. ~Caprice~
