DESCRIPTION:
I shot this footage at the drag/transgender balls in New York City over a five year period (1996-2001). This footage was a series of outtakes from the documentary HOW DO I LOOK directed by Wolfgang Busch. Music by Jade Elektra & Midnight Society. The film is a kind of sequel to PARIS IS BURNING. It chronicles the current (and ever evolving) ball culture that Madonna made famous in the song VOGUE. A few of the performers from the Vogue video are in this footage, as well as some of the original people featured in the first PARIS IS BURNING film. I wanted to make an unofficial movie-trailer for the film using this balls-to-the-wall footage that was left on the cutting room floor.....so here it is children..........enjoy.
