MIKROWAFLE are the pioneers of polish electronic, avant- & syntetic-pop scene (really, first polish ELECTRO, since beginning of '90 years). They are producers and performers.
MIKROWAFLE are the only group (except Josef Robakowski and Ana Janevski), who have honour opened the Museum Of Modern Art in Warsaw, during the New Year's Eve party 2008.



A controversial-electroshocking MIKROWAFLE group came into being in 2003 on a basis of legendary Protoplazma (1993-2003), former known as postindusteial & experimental groups: Morris Generativ (1989-1993, precursors of polish noise-electro-industrial) and Fioletowe Plyny Zdrowotne (1987-89, dada-prepare-experimental, very youth project). Extramal inspirations were coming to Poland from West with big delay. Our inspirations of those times was extremal items, like, for example: Throbbing Gristle, DOME, S.P.K. Zoviet-France, Clock Dva or Cabaret Voltaire.
The moment of start was spontaneous. Big impulse was idea of controversial videoclip (cult today!), for the PSYCHO-DISCO song, under the title: 'Talib's girl'. Never emite at polish TV!
However, the main idea of MIKROWAFLE dates back in the past. During their short shows MIKROWAFLE break the norms of an ordinary song. Their performances verge on theatre and cinema. And some other.
They give also club live-acts as electro-project E1 (www.e1.prv.pl).



At 2005 have his first CD-album: 'Nareszcie - gdzie ten fjuczer?' ('At last - where's this future?') and found themselves on 2 CD compilations before; In short time Mikrowafle performed on TV Polsat (BAR, Top Trendy and Poplista) and took part in WOSP (2005 & 2007) in Lodz.
Moreover, Mikrowafle's songs are played on few non-commercial, popular polish radiostations & TV: Radiostacja, Radio Jazz, Antyradio, 4Fun TV. They were nominated for prestige TopTrendyFestival.
The videoclip 'My sa profesory' ('We are professors') won a main prize at summer 2005 in all-Polish television contest.
