My Darling Clementines Michael Weston King cat at Square Wheels 28 2013 April part 2 - Video
PUBLISHED:  Apr 29, 2013
DESCRIPTION:
My Darling Clementine is Michael Weston King and Lou Dalgleish, husband and wife off stage, and lately very much a musical marriage, too. In the last year or so they have been touring a musical play, They Call Her Natasha, built around the songs of Elvis Costello; being universally well received around the country, with obvious leaping off points from that work to My Darling Clementine and the acclaimed album "How Do You Plead" a former record of the week here on FSR and on The Medicine Show.
Michael and Lou (and daughter Mable) are currently on tour with Scots rock icon and confirmed country music fan Ricky Ross (Deacon Blue).
I caught up with Michael Weston King at The Square Wheels House Concert at Strathpeffer in The Highlands, on 28th April 2013 in concert and chatting to friends and hosts square wheels Steve, Clancy and me about the new album, the roots of the music, the formation and vision of MDC, + how we miss mutual friend Jackie Leven, as well as paying tribute to George Jones in the week of his loss.

Look out for an exclusive preview of "The Gospel According To George" which will appear on the new album Reconciliation? & Michael playing David Childers "Heart in your soul" for Jackie Leven.
