Raymond Leppard directs these performances of vocal works by John Dowland. The vocal ensemble is comprised of April Cantelo, Janet Baker, Gerald English, and Christopher Keyte. They are accompanied by David Channon, lute; John Sothcott, recorder; Cecile Dolmetsch, treble viol; Dietrich Kessler, bass viol; Nathalie Dolmetsch, cittern; and Robert Spencer, bandora. From 1965.
