Joshua Micah is a bona-fide popstar in the making. His electronic, rock-tinged pop music has found its way into the homes of millions as a result of his debut 5 song EP 'Let It Go', mixed by multiple Grammy Award winner, Tom Lord-Alge. The EP included the hit single 'When The World Ends' which received over 60 spins a week for three months on SiriusXM's Pop Channel, '20 On 20'and went onto feature -- along with two other singles - on the popular family show, The Vineyard, and on top rated primetime show The Middle, national TV channel ABC.
The new single, 'We're In Heaven' is due for release on 14 February, on New York based label, Sea To Sun Recordings. It's a stripped back acoustic affair with the spotlight solely on Joshua's flawless vocals, guitar talents and unquestionable song writing ability. This romantic ballad is guaranteed to send shivers down your spine and turn all thoughts to love. Accompanied by an equally fitting romantic video, 'We're In Heaven' is the perfect soundtrack for Valentine's Day.
To promote the single, Joshua has teamed with the rapidly growing video dating app Instamour where one lucky female will win a video date on Valentine's Day. Instamour state Joshua is one of the most sought-after members in its community and those members can upload up to four videos to enter with Joshua picking the winner for the date.
Joshua commented, "I think it's cool that people can record videos and actually have them serve a meaningful purpose. I use video apps all the time, and while that is great for sharing, the conversation normally ends there. As a grounded individual, Joshua is using his profile and extensive fan base for good causes. He recently launched an anti-bullying campaign where fans in their thousands helped spread positive messages to help stamp out online bullying. Using social media to stay in close touch with his fans, Joshua uses the hashtag '#MissionJM' to give fans daily missions to enlist help in his campaigns and to help share his music. In return Joshua offers support back to his fans, with special gifts and personalised messages. Joshua said:
"Using my profile for good causes is the most important thing to me. I want to make a positive impact with my life. Since I've grown more of a following on social media, I've noticed the problems within people's lives as they share openly on their pages or with me directly. Bullying is such a recurring problem, so one day I just decided to find some facts about it and do what I could to raise awareness."
