Chicago's champion of un-ruined country music Lawrence Peters and songwriter
and lap steel player of rustic modern personal sea shanties Eiren Caffall join forces to cover the Jim Henson classic movie Emmet Otter's Jug Band Christmas with a collection of musical friends onstage at the storied Hideout. Working with members of their individual bands: Matt Gandurski (Northside Southpaws, Sons of Susan) and Ari Bolles (Rachel Ries, Weepin' Willows) they cover the songs of Emmett Otter's Jug Band Christmas using special friends, and bringing the rustic charm of the original music to life in time for the holidays.

Performing Emmett Otter's Jug Band Christmas will be: Ari Bolles, Eiren Caffall, Matt Gandurski and Lawrence Peters plus assorted special guests. Ari Bolles (Rachel Ries, Eiren Caffall and The Weepin' Willows), plays upright bass and provides vocals. Eiren Caffall is a musician and writer, she plays lap steel guitar and autoharp and sings and plays her own work under her own name. Matt Gandurski (The Northside Southpaws, The Lawrence Peters Outfit and The Sons of Susan) makes his living as a left-handed guitarist with many bands all of whom understand that the best notes occurred before 1960. Lawrence Peters (The Lawrence Peters Outfit, Magnolia Electric Company, Plastic Crimewave Sound, Velcro Lewis Group, The Golden Horse Ranch Band, Eiren Caffall, Mar Caribe and Tijuana Hercules) is a singer,
songwriter, drummer and America's preeminent electric washboard player, with a musical
career spanning twenty-plus years.
