Taken from the acclaimed album Root System, Messy Shelters follows up on the successful debut EP Abandonship from 2008, where Mikkel Bolding aka Messy Shelters practically appeared out of nothing and swept Danish reviewers off their feet.

Recently Chord Steps appeared in the TV series Continuum (Season 2, Episode 7 'Second Degree), where it is used for the closing scene.
