Biography: Drown Frustration was founded in September 1995 in Bruchsal, South Germany. The initial members were Ralph (bass), Steffen (guitar), Jens (guitar), Hilmar (vocals) and Michael (drums). Their first step was a 4-track-demo tape in 1996, which was released for some tape compilations and friends. The feedback was pretty cool but shit happened and after a few months singer Hilmar left the band. This was "Drown In Frustration" part one.

The band searched for months and finally they found André from a local band, and he joinded the band as new singer. In 1998 they released a 7" called "Already Fallen" on Pateline Industries. This was more of an old school style like 'Ignite meets By The Grace Of God' kinda style. In 1999 the next release on Pateline was a split 7" with a Swedish band called Crowpath. So in late 1999 the owner of Pateline Industries, Thorsten Mang (former bass player of German band Pole*) became a father and brought the work with his label to an end. "Drown In Frustration" part two.

So another super long period began to find a label to release their upcoming EP. Every label loved the songs but no one wanted to put it out. Anyway, after a few months Drown In Frutration found Lars Hoffmann from Defiance Records. He decided to release the band's EP "The Noise Reveals What Is Real" in spring 2000. The EP had good reviews in magazines and the band played a lot of shows, met a lot of people and enjoyed the life on the road, especially at their first England trip in 2001.

Back from England Steffen left the band and "Drown In Frustration" part three was done. Then Drown In Frustration felt in a deep coma for months. Ralph joined a band called Ambrose as bass player, Michael skated all day, André worked hard for his diploma and Jens chilled and chilled. Everybody took a break of the band.

But Michael and Andrè worked behind the scenes and watched out for a new guitar player or drummer. In March 2002 they found a dude for the rhythm section. They recorded some songs to do some promo for ther long planned "Love Kills" album. But shit happened again and after a few months in December 2003 Drown In Frustration kicked the new drummer out of the squad. In September 2003 Armin joined the band and Florian replaced Andrew in spring 2004. Anyway two years after Drown In Frustration was a five piece rock band again. In April 2007 Drown In Frustration came to an end. Their members started a new band called Man The Change.
