People always ask me: Young boy, what's your motivation? I look them in the eye and without hesitation I tell them, "EVERYTHING THAT SURROUNDS ME!!!!" My family: mothers, fathers, nephews, niece, sisters, brothers, my Godchildren, my band, my city, haters, lifestyle, the rich, the poor, the famous, the unknown, and my fans. Everything from severed relationships to those going strong that have made me the BEAST I am today. Day in and day out I am on the road grinding for a better future for my children's children whenever they shall arrive. For those that think i'm on bullshit when I don't return a call, text, e-mail, or any other message for that matter walk in my shoes and understand what I go through PLEASE!!!!! Yes, I know I have missed Christmas, birthdays, Thanksgivings, Sweetest days, Valentines days, Mother's days, Father's days, First steps, First words, first days of schools, graduations, or any other event that might fall on a day when I have to work. All I can do is apologize for my absence and hope you understand one day.
FEEL THIS: I spend more days on tour then I do at home throughout the year. I live on a tour bus with 10 other grinders making a better living for our families. When I am home I have meetings, studio sessions, photo shoots, movie shoots, anything to put food on my table. This shit ain't as glamourous as you may think!!!
YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE: For those that I do invite into my life, please understand this Because I am done repeating this!!!! When you miss me, I miss you!!! When you need me, I need you!!! There is no one that can duplicate the relationship that we have built no matter what you are to me!!! I need you here because you free me from reality and give me a reason to keep going. When the time is right I will be with you and we will truly be able to enjoy life. I am NO superstar yet. We all are stars. I'm just trying to shine brighter then the rest. So don't hate me for my absence! Don't push me away because of my past because the future is all that matters and is always better. If you can't handle my lifestyle then it's better we not interact because we would just hold each other back and my career has to come first although i'm not making you last. Melza J
