The Melo-D-Heirs are a dynamic Acappella Gospel singing group, focused on spreading the good news of God's Word with their distinctive style of melodies. This renowned group consists of all family members, four siblings (two sisters and two brothers). LaShondria Robins (Soprano), Larnetta Stewart (Alto), Rondal Melton (who sings Alto & Tenor), Lamont Robins (3rd Tenor & Bass). There are also three cousins in the group, Anthony Fletcher Jr. (sings nothing else but tenor.) Frank Melton III (singing everything but bass), and Harvey Davis Jr. (da-dup, dad-dup; he sings the bass). This unique formula of voices blend together to create sounds listeners all over the nation enjoys. The Melo-D-Heirs are home based in Houston, TX They got their spiritual upbringing at the Shady Acres Church of Christ, where Bro. Frank Melton Jr. serves as minister. They have toured all through their home state of Texas. They have also made appearances all over the nation, in such states such as: California, Oregon, Colorada, Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Florida, North Carolina, Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Ohio, Michigan, and Oklahoma. The Melo-D-Heirs are now an international group, making there debut appearance here in Nassau, Bahamas for the Caribbean Lectureship 2003. They are also active in the community singing in Nursing Homes, Boys & Girls Homes, Prisons, Weddings, Hospitals, Banquets, and have even made appearances on NBC and on cable television.



The Melo-D-Heirs are promoting two recordings both Recorded with the late Johnnie Wilder, Jr. (Shalonda Productions) Dayton, OH. The Working Hard is a project that has, and is still uplifting souls with original favorite hits such as the title track, Working Hard, It's Amazing, This Mission is For Real, and Lord I Thank You, also an arrangement of a traditional favorite congregational song Redeemed, and more. The second project featured is Looking Unto Jesus. This project demands your undivided attention, with more heart warming and soul stirring original hits such as. The title track, Looking Unto Jesus, I will Sing, Friend, a unique arrangement of an old favorite traditional song Precious Lord, nominated for the category song of the year at the Christian Acappella Music Awards (CAMA) 2002, Service, Wipe All Tears, and more. This project also features four heirludes, as The Melo-D-Heirs has gracefully labeled them, to give this album continuous flow. Presently, the Melo-D-Heirs are working on a series of albums in which the first of the series will be entitled "Let's Worship God. The single for this product has already been released with another favorite crowd pleaser, "How Great/God is Able".



The Melo-D-Heirs have participated in the Christian Acappella Music Awards (CAMA), and have been recipients of three CAMA awards. The First award was Favorite Contemporary Ensemble (1994). The second award was for Best Mixed Group (1998). The third award was for Artist of the year (2006).



The Melo-D-Heirs would like to thank you for your support and prayers, as they continue to: Let the word of Christ dwell in them richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms, and hyms, and spiritual songs, singing with grace their hearts to the Lord.
