If you love The Heist album by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis as much as Jaclyn and I do, then this mashup is for you! And if you don't, then hopefully you can still embrace all the craziness of this one haha :)

I've been wanting to cover Can't Hold Us for some time now. Mostly because I love the spirit of the song - about being independent and making the music you want to make. Jac came down to Nashville for two weeks and was totally down to tackle it with me. It was nice because we had time to play around with ideas for a few days before filming. And at some point over the course of those days we decided to throw White Walls, Same Love, and a hint of Thrift Shop into the mix.

If you told me at the beginning of the process that we would be mashing 4 songs, I would've abandoned it right then lol. But surprisingly the whole arrangement came together really naturally. It was a lot of fun to make, so hope you all enjoy!
