DESCRIPTION:
TheFactsRemain.com recently sat down with Knucklehead, the man responsible for August Alsina's smash single, "I Luv This Sh*t". The neophyte took time to sit with us to discuss the success of the record and walk us through the creative process of the hit record.

The Texarkana, AR/TX native has been professionally involved within music production since 2004. His current success is the result of and a testament to hard work and dedication. Influenced by Cam'ron opening speech on "It's Nothin" in 2006, Knuck decided to follow his dreams of pursuing a career full-time in music and dropped out of Texas Southern University.

As a newcomer, Knuck would begin to carve out his space within Hip Hop, working with the likes of Rocko, Roscoe Dash, Soulja Boy, Gucci Mane, and Alley Boy to build a respectable resume as one of the South's premiere upcoming producers.

2012 would prove to be a year of change, meeting a then unsigned August Alsina at a studio session scheduled for Roscoe Dash. A chemistry would be created instantly, generating the smash single and a plethora of other hits featured on August's "The Product 2" mixtape and "Downtown: Life Under The Gun" EP. Records such as "Downtown" and "Ghetto" serve as standouts within their growing catalog. Their relationship culminates on August's debut, "Testimony", featuring four placements generated from their collaborative efforts.

2014 has proven to be a fruitful year so far for Knucklehead. He was rewarded his first Gold plaque this past February, following "I Luv This Sh*t" charting #1 on Billboard back in October 2013 and amassing over 500,000+ iTunes purchases.

Knucklehead keeps himself focused on his craft and relationship with August. His approach to the game is simple: TAKE IT OVER WITH AUGUST. His thought process mirrors the mindsets of the immortalized within Hip Hop production, focused on creating a legacy similar to some of the greatest artist/producer duos.

Armed with a gold plaque, access to an emerging star, and a sound soon to become household, Knuck has every reason and to show why HE LOVES THIS SH*T !!!!
