Two fine songs from Danish singer/songwriter M.C. Hansen, the indisputable master of Scandicana, and Jacob Chano. The first, “Down There by the Well”, features their trademark tight vocals, M.C.’s guitar and Jacob’s harmonium. It’s followed by “There’s a Storm a-Coming” (from 03:37), a song M.C. wrote with the brilliant Jonathan Byrd. Check out Jacob’s innovative percussive use of the harmonium and a Shure SM-57.
