Since our inception in 2007, we here at PBR have had an amazing 6 years. In today's competitive electronic music landscape, we have firmly cemented ourselves as one of Canada's most respected labels. We have been blessed to land numerous top tens, a few number ones, world-class producers, remixers, and support from YOU! We are proud to have reached the milestone of our hundredth release, 'What it's About 2013'.
Originally dropped in 2009 and having received support from heavies like Guetta, Benny Benassi, Hatiras, etc... And sitting in the Beatport top 10 for weeks, it only seems right to release the MASSIVE rework by PBR label heads Flipside and A-Divizion. The legendary vocal is backed by an enormous kick drum, heavy stabs, risers, percussive mastery, and a melodic break that will stand out in any arena, festival and club setting. As some of you know, PBR has had some solid tech house releases over the years, so we enlisted Calgarian Simon Doty, who has been on FIRE with releases on Toolroom, Floorplay, 1605, and fellow Canadian label Definitive. Simon delivers a groovy, chunky, pulsing mix that features an enormous bassline and mindblasting break... Doty unleashes a truly stellar remix.
To close things off, we hit up Northwest Bass maestro and Portland, Oregon native Nathaniel Knows, who hits us with a super g'd out Trap mix that swings more than a metronome.
