Bars and Melody’s Charlie Lenehan singing Jason Mraz’s I’m Yours, first in January 2017 and then in May 2015. On both occasions Charlie is provided with ukulele and vocal backing by Neil Starr, frontman of Welsh rock band States and Empires and former member of Dopamine.

Bars and Melody are Leondre Devries and Charlie Lenehan, a rapping and singing duo who were Britain's Got Talent 2014 finalists.

After the show, Bars and Melody were signed by Simon Cowell. Their début, anti-bullying single Hopeful came out in July 2014.

Leo and Charlie have since released further singles, their début album 143 and their Teen Spirit EP, have toured extensively across the world; and have a huge fandom, not only in the UK, but also, especially, in Poland and in Japan, where they have been signed by Avex, one of Japan’s largest record labels.
