"Jenny Wren" Mayadia's Musing - Video
PUBLISHED:  Jul 30, 2011
DESCRIPTION:
On facebook yesterday, and my personal introspective post lead to a nice thread comment that included my dad calling me little wing, and a coworker getting lyrically inspired and wrote this little ditty I am singing...part of my post is verbatum in the 1st line....

ROY - "i feel that lyric coming on....'Got mi roots, got mi wings, workin right not fraid what may future brings; what don't suits, ain't no things, keepin sight til mi soul sings. The limb i'm on sways the breeze, can see mi sky well past the trees, dim the ways that can ease...let's fly be free THE BIRD IN ME.' "

I call it Jenny Wren out of respect and love of my great grandaddy, who called me Jenny Wren from birth...he knew and saw my singing spirit as a baby, and I grew up spending a lot of childhood days climbing the pecan trees at their house and singing...
