RED Mawkin is a concept that was conceived and developed by Nikhil Mawkin as a medium through which he shares his productions and compositions. Red Mawkin as a band has an ever changing line up that is often determined by the nature of the music through which Nikhil seeks to express himself.

The first studio album by RED Mawkin was independently released in January 2012. The second studio album is slated for release in 2014.

Red Mawkin plays a unique style using the state of the art looping systems while he demonstrates flexibility caused by varying influences from jazz to world music and blues to rock'n'roll.
