Matty B. and the Dirty Pickles emerged from Erie, PA in mid-July of 2004. The local music scene starved for some new, hip music and the Dirty Pickles delivered with a rebellious rockabilly revival. Influenced by bands such as the Ramones, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Robert Johnson; the Dirty Pickles inject a modern spin into the retro roots of American rock. In 2008, their debut album, Picklebilly, molded mischevious fun with carefree rock n' roll fueled by smooth bass and pulsating beats.
