LORDS OF THE HIGHWAY

Lords of the Highway from Cleveland, Ohio have been tearin' up asphalt since 1992, bringing you hillbilly punk rock that knocks ya flat, runs ya over, and doesn't look back.

The Lords have hauled along the highway from NYC's CBGB's to honky tonk dives in the hills, playing with the likes of Reverend Horton Heat, Southern Culture on the Skids, Hank III, Th' Legendary Shack Shakers, Dick Dale, Nekromantix, Tiger Army, El Vez, Hasil Adkins, Lee Rocker, ?Mark & the Mystrions,Ray Condo, and many others - not to mention countless of kick ass punk bands.

They've played events including Daytona's Bike Week, and are regulars at the biggest baddest party in this hemisphere, Heavy Rebel Weekender in Winston-Salem, NC.

The Lords are also no strangers to the big & little screens, having appeared in the Campbell Brothers motion picture ‘The Red Skulls’(2006) as well as being contestants on the TV show ‘The Next Great American Band’. On the show, The Lords cut the mustard at the LA. tryouts only to be given the boot by Sheila E. & Goo Goo Dolls front man John Rzeznik. Yes, Sheila E. (who everyone knows is a true a rock connoisseur) was so appalled by Sugar's sexually suggestive bass antics that she had to turn her back to the band. The Lords can only take this rejection as a true sign that rock is dead in the corporate world. You also can find the Lords music as soundtracks for 6 other independent films, and the band also has a DVD of their music videos,

The line-up for the newest 7" album ‘Die, Monster, Die’ includes Sugar on, over, and under the upright bass, Joey Hissem beatin' the hell out of the drums, and Dennis A. Bell astounding crowds with his "smoke and mirrors" technique on his hollow body Gretsch. This latest album will be the sixth full-length release for the band, and is shaping up to be the scariest yet!
