The Heavy Rebel Weekender was started in 2001. Consisting of 3 days, 48 bands, car show and vendors. It has grown to over 90 acts, 4 stages, DJ, 300 plus vehicle car show, Rock and Roll and Retro vendors, mud wrestling, wet-wifebeater contest, Guitar contest, upright Bass contest, burlesque shows and dancers and a LOT more.
Consisting of Rock and Roll, Rockabilly, Honky Tonk, Punk, Psychobilly and Garage and good old-fashioned stadium rock. This is no a BS, no fashion-scene event. Leave your attitudes at home and have fun. We offer the best of small label and unsigned music ever assmbled under on HUGE roof. Held at the Millennium Center, in Winston-Salem, NC, the HRW is growing every year. With attendees from as far a Germany and Austraila.
