Two-Rock 22 Watt Crystal Amplifier Demo - Video
PUBLISHED:  May 06, 2014
DESCRIPTION:
Dr Ric is play-testing the new Two-Rock Crystal Amplifier Combo at Deluxe Guitars in South Melbourne, Australia. This is "closely connected" to the Two-Rock John Mayer Signature series amplifiers that were only made in a short supply run.

This is a new model straight from the USA and we were lucky enough to be the first in Australia to demo it. A huge thanks to Michael at Deluxe Guitars for letting us demo this wonderful amp.

The benefit of this amp is not only the fact the face plate has a larger, simpler design, but the amplifier is much more straight ahead with less unnecessary controls such as the pickup loading.

Not only does this amp sound fantastic on clean, it takes pedals really well. Ric switches on two overdrive pedals in this demo including the Vemuram Jan Ray Pedal and the Klon KTR pedal. He is also running his Strymon El-Capistan pedal for a hint of delay to give the amp even sweeter tones.
