Natural Magic is a series of experimental animist karaoke pieces for solo performer and pre-recorded soundtrack. Each piece in the series is inspired by a series of animal communication dreams I had. I devise various methods of divination for each score using numerology, symbolic geometry, and melodic translations of flowers, spider webs, and other natural phenomena. I compose and listen to them as meditations or hymns of mystery.
