21 Days of new music with Matt Geraghty and friends - http://www.mgp21.com

21 is 21 improvised music collaborations filmed across 21 days involving over 60 different musicians from 20 different countries. Starting December 1st to December 21st, the sessions will be filmed and published to this site daily.

We will be crossing musical genres, featuring top talent from around the world, and assembling musicians that may not usually work together. The purpose of the project to is spontaneously create work in the moment with very minimal conversation around what will be played. With minimal expectations and preparation before the sessions, something organic is allowed to arise from the collaboration — an improvised composition.

Curating the series and playing bass is Matt Geraghty. Matt is a bassist & composer without borders who has recorded 4 albums of his own internationally inspired compositions, works with Grammy award-winning artists and has brought his original world music jazz project to the international stage.
