About MATFlawless
Mat took to mixing music in the year 1991. Actually, he had earlier watched Daz and Fax doing a party and that was enough to get him going on the road of a DJ! Born on 9th June 1978 in the musical city of Milan, Matt has always been a fan of being a DJ and in fact, started with buying vinyls as a past time!
Mat's first investment -
A Technics SL1210-MK2 and an 8 Seconds Gemini Sampler Mixer. Trust these were and still are an integral part of Mat's life till date. With some turntables to his wares, all Mat had to wait was for a couple of months, and he got ready to be a DJ at a party! Wow, that's quite fast even by conservative standards.
Mat and his friends were faced with the rather unhealthy idea of competing in a mixing challenge with some judges seeing their work. Crazy prospect indeed!
Mat's motivation -
It was not for a challenge did Mat take his DJ career to where it is today. In fact, it is for his love of music and good quality trance that inspired Mat to reach newer heights. The world is definitely not complaining, whatever be the reason!
What started with one party went on to become a craze, an obsession of sorts with Mat being a permanent feature in all parties and exhibitions. A lot of credit for Mat's astounding rise to popularity must go also to his brother Mic who has helped him with certain projects.
Mat and music: 1995 onwards -
1995 was the year when trance and MATFlawless got correlated! More than 2000 insane dancers thoroughly enjoyed Mat's performance at the Carnevale Italiano. Having Marco Galli as the lead vocalist, Mat definitely did make some heads turn!
By 1995, Mat picked up some experience with Radio Studio 8 and couple of singles to his credit. Not a lot of work to make a budding musician bray about his claims, but trust this was a lull before the storm actually came through.
In these couple of years, Mat met quite a few artists. He also expanded his music system collection what with Mat owning a ROM Sampler Keyboard, a Pioneer mixer and other instruments to boast about. Trust Mat would have spent a lot of time on the Roland DJ-70 to come up with some swaying compositions. Never ever, Mat tried to produce those one odd foot tapping tunes! Mat always had an eye of producing wholesome compositions that had people asking for more.
Between 1995 and 2006, Mat successfully completed a lot of projects; work that would stay with him in his musical career for a long, long time.
From January 2006 until May 2000, Mat worked in a band named Murder of Crows. Artists from different countries made this band, and in due time, they released an industrial electronica track: Mutation. True to his reputation, MATFlawless has remixed this song. Listen to this song now and you would be listening to Techno beats as opposed to the Industrial Electronica in the original version. Just so you know – This Techno beat version rose up the popularity charts of Acidplanet.com rather fast, and pretty soon, was the number 1 in All Genres List in this site.
The MOC and the Corporate Filter Bands gave him excellent opportunities to work with a conglomeration of artists from all across the world.
After these experiences, he did an impressive list of hits: just to name a few, Drums Attack, Flawless Dimension, Save the Planet and Dreams amongst others.
Matt successfully completed the graduate Electronic Music Producer Certificate at the SAE College in Milan (Italy).

The use of Virtual instruments amongst adding another software has been one of the key highlights of Mat's home studio, not less his continued growing professional hardware expansion, which by now is a full blown music production house.
