dj bassquez , pincha discos desde los 15 años, partio pinchando drum and bass, triphop, breakbeat, en clubes como minga, subterraneo,white trash y casi todos los clubes santiaguinos, forman Matenlo en el 2006. el 2007, con una mezcla de breakbeat ,torrnamesas y samples latinos editan Chiguagua Ep , en Resense records (alemania) sello propiedad de la banda alemana Mohorizons y Ralph doesmeyer, responsable de compilaciones como brazilectro y asia loounge,
su explosiva experimentacion en su set y producciones, los a llevado a investigar en muchos sonidos y estilos, desmarcandose de el sonido lo-fi de resense.
ghetto tech tropipolar, rescate dubamericano ,samples, percusiones y fuertes influencias house son los que definen su sonido hoy.

dj bassquez, dj since age 15, started djing d & b, trip hop, breakbeat, at clubs like Minga, Subterraneo, White Trash and many others all around Santiago. they both set up MATENLO in 2006. On 2007 mixing up breakbeat, turntables and latin samples edited Chiguagua ep, released by Resense Records (Germany), label created by Mo Horizons & Ralph Doesmeyer. who also released compilations like Brazilectro & Asia Lounge.
their explosive experimentation & productions made them research on many sounds & styles, delaying from the lo-fi sound of Resense, Tropi-polar ghetto-tech,
dubamerican rescue. samples, percusions and strong influences of house and grime music are the references that nowadays define their sound.
