Mary Kiani has been a professional and successful musician/singer for more than 2 decades. Her music and voice have taken her all over the world to record and she has been lucky to perform and also to work with other great successful musicians.

As a successful session singer Mary toured and performed with Welch band “Waterfront’ on Donny Osmond’s 3 month tour of the U.S.A and then performed with other bands such as ‘HUE & CRY , ‘CHINA CRISIS, ‘THE NIGHTCRAWLERS’ , UK RADIO 1 SUMMER ROADSHOW.

Over the years Mary has notched up 8 national Top 40’s. Mary had huge hits with Scottish rave band ‘THE TIME FREQUENCY’ and the classic dance anthem ‘REAL LOVE’. This success lead to a solo MAJOR record deal with ‘MERCURY RECORDS’ and Mary was also signed to the very powerful 1st Avenue Records and management. Mary’s solo debut solo single ‘WHEN I CALL YOUR NAME’ went top 20 in the national charts and straight in at No 1 in the national dance charts with a remix from ‘HARDFLOOR’

All this involvement in the dance field lead to Mary working with DJ’S writers and Producers such as…PAUL OKENFOLD[dj], FERGIE[dj], EDDIE FINGERS[prod], TREVOR REILLY[dj], ONE WORLD[prod], NIGEL LOWIS[prod], JOHN REID[prod], JOHN MCGLAUGHLIN[writer] and the list goes on…

Crowned Mary Queen of Scots in 1995 by the readers of M8 Magazine. Scottish Diva Mary Kiani has taken the star studded route to a successful solo career, having appeared in both UK and AMERICAN charts, gathering three top 40 singles in the U.K chart, with former band The Time Frequency’s .

Mary’s last solo album, Long Hard Funky Dreams through MERCURY RECORDS, produced four top 40 hits in the UK and many Huge Dance Anthem hits in Australia and the US and beyond.

Mary now has a loyal fan base around the world, through her many releases and tours.

Mary has recorded a new album with producer Steve Peach, through Peachy Records & released through JRB Music.

With every visit to Australia new songs were written…memories were made. And finally ‘The Sydney Sessions’ was compiled.

The songs on this album are very special to Mary and she hopes that you find your special song on there too.

The first single “Wrap you up” had chart success in Australia, Japan, Germany and in speciality dance stores in the US.

Mary’s live performance highlights are many but include recently the renowned COLOUR DANCE FESTIVAL held in Braehead arena Scotland and her Massive 2006 SYDNEY MARDI GRAS Show with the Imagine show as Memoirs of a Geisha.

Mary was asked by the Childrens Cancer Institute of Australia to write and record a special song for them, to help raise money for the Charity. The song ‘Keep On Believing” will be out end of 2006.

Mary’s Sydney Sessions Album is out through JRB Music 2006 and there will b an Australian Tour to coincide with the album Launch, followed by a UK Tour.

Mary has always been popular with her dance audiences and will no doubt with the release of her new and long awaited Album ‘The Sydney Sessions” Mary will keep that popularity for years to come.
