DESCRIPTION:
A once- (or rather twice-) in a lifetime experience, as Jet reform to play the fragrant dancehalls of Europe in 1999. Martin Gordon (on bass) and Trevor White (on guitar) were both in Sparks, which explains why they are performing an obscure Sparks B-side. Also present are Andy Ellison (vocals), Chris Townson (drums) and Ian Macleod (guitars and two jackets).

Martin Gordon eschewed the Rickenbacker solution on this occasion, on fiscal grounds.The tour was captured for the album 'Music For the Herd of Herring' and featured music from John's Children, Sparks, Jet, Radio Stars and Trevor White. And you cannot say fairer than that. Joined by erstwhile Morrissey collaborator Boz Boorer on the JC tunes, the musicians power through some delightful, high-humoured versions of classics by each of the above bands.
