' BABYLON BABY ' - Public Domain films (1945-67) edited to tell a song lyric story that has two different endings. I'm inclined to the former: Peace. The latter included for balance. By 'hurricane' I never meant the weather though I have portrayed it so.

BABYLON BABY

Babylon baby was born at the start of it
but he knows he's a memory breaking down.

He wants to be here at the heart of it
but I bury the Babylon under the ground.

Babylon baby was born on a telegram
but his voice has become like a waterfall.

He hasn't a clue about who I am (OR YOU)
He doesn't hear all of our voices are
calling out through space and time:

"Don't leave us here. Don't walk away..."


SCENARIO ONE:


Babylon baby will wake and be born again
and his voice will be every living thing.

SUDDENLY EVERYTHING'S REAL!

O YEAH.

Or maybe...


SCENARIO TWO:


Babylon baby will die in a hurricane
that will crawl over all of the living world
and no one will ever be born again
and all of our voices will ever be
calling out through space and time...
