Mars in Furs

Every great song, to me, is a tiny fragment of the universe that has arrived at completion. Striving for that is a religion in itself. For every man involved in the process, the end product is paramount to vindication. Something that could be described as euphoric, uplifting, absolute. Like a small taste of heaven.

dazed and confused, she cried

the silk and velveteen glow

the girl could never know

the magic in the air between you



and would you believe, we all together

searching for the simple pleasures

is the answer to live forever?



her mouth opens

and rainbows make their way

to your ears, so you see?

no reason for fear

it's only a dance and those trees

can't you feel them breathe?



so it hits you, take her hand

and dance among the leaves

seasons blend if you



just believe we all together

laughing at our wasted leisure
