Rec. at the Tabard Inn, Washington DC July 7. Normally this tune's harmonic rhythm is played twice as slow as it is here. I never played the tune this way and neither had Mark. I think the freshness of the approach made for a communicative and interesting version of this Jobim composition. We both went with (and stayed with) what was initially a "mistake" throughout the entire 8 minute rendition and it made it alot of fun (and challenging) to play. Hope you enjoy!
