(Lyrics - You're My Girl (Lost Recording #6))
VERSE 1
Tell me does he know your
Your laying here with me cause
Your hearts inside my hand but
Your too afraid to leap

Tell me does he know the way you look at me, no
And she said

CHORUS
I, oh i’ve gotta let you go
I, oh i’ve gotta let you go

VERSE 2
Tell me does he write you
A song called you’re my girl
or sing about you every night
All around this world

Tell me does he hold you
The way I use to
Oh no

CHORUS
I, oh i’ve gotta let you go
I, oh i’ve gotta let you go

BRIDGE
When its late and you can’t fall asleep
And you’ve had a little too much to drink
You give me a call
You say I just wanna hear your voice
Please don’t hang up the phone

You whisper I might’ve wrong
I said darlin i’m already gone

CHORUS
I, oh i’ve gotta let you go
I, oh i’ve gotta let you go x2

(About)
Tattooed onto Marks left forearm reads “XVII-II-MMVI” – the date he first performed an original song in front of a large audience. Each day that tattoo staring at him is a reminder that all it takes is the courage to be yourself. At that moment, Mark remembers feeling like nothing in his life would be the same.

Diamond is from Washington state and grew up in a small town outside of Seattle called Maple Valley. He blames the rain for his style of writing. Through all of the music he writes, Mark hopes to help those similar to him, giving them a moment to quiet their busy minds, even if its just for a moment.
