Female vocalist from Japan, ,Mariko Shibuya, makes her US debut with the mid tempo tune.It's a smooth,old school lush balled song , "Close to you " in English. Song is written, produced and performed by Hiroshi Upshur and lyrics by Lainee Doyle. Mariko's previous recordings were in Japanese released in Japan. Tak Upshur took notice and brought her to the U.S. to record and she is presently recording a mini- CD. Also featured is the soulful guitar work of Josh Sklair : musical director / guitarist for the late Etta James.
