This cycle of "modern" tangos has 5 movements. These pieces are first of all concert pieces that give a new conceptual idea to the tango of Latin America. Sometimes expressive and lyrical and sometimes rhythmical. Alto Voltango uses a rather traditional language that nevertheless has a lot of micro-intervals. Also the systematic register of the overtones and a great velocity.
