The University of Lancaster Brass Band performing The Good, The Bad and the Ugly at UniBrass 2015. Composed by Ennio Morricone, arranged by Ray Farr. Soloists: Simon James - Cornet, Alex Hardgrave - Flugel.

Lancaster University does not have a music department surrounding musical activities and ensembles. Run purely by a committee of students studying a wide range of degree schemes, the University’s music society is one of the largest on campus and, being one of the largest ensembles, the Brass Band is right at the heart of the society.

As well as supporting the University and playing across campus throughout the year, the band enjoy going out to play in the local community and engaging in many traditional ULMS socials!

The band is particularly excited to be competing in UniBrass’ 5th anniversary year and watching it develop from its beginnings at Lancaster in 2010.
