This song along with 5 others was part of an abandoned recording project from 1984 done at the Levinsong Recording Studio in Glenwood, Illinois. The project was abandoned for lack of financial resources. This particular song consisted of only 3 tracks done on a Tascam 144 Portastudio: guitar, emulated pedal steel guitar & lead vocal. In 2011 Marc Levinson, drummer & original founder of the band MONTAGE discovered these tracks on an old tape he found in his attic and decided to finish it up once and for all so it could finally be released. At his recording studio, Warp Drive Productions (http://warpdriveprod.com) in Southern California, Levinson added acoustic drums, MIDI fretless bass & all backup vocals. Levinson then mixed it all down and made this slide show from the only existing photos of that special era. We believe this song showcases Eric Mantel's songwriting abilities as an artist, and we hope you enjoy it!
