TRANSLATION:
If now to that ship, which calms the winds,
the currents increase Peter's weeping
through silver sails and bearings in calm seas,
Northward he goes, to the safe harbor.

Moreover, if now the rapids from your eyes, calms, and cures your mistakes with crystals, being the pain, to Northern ardent sighs, which blow their clear currents: tend the sails, to the light wind; so go, little boat, to the sun in your sphere.

Onward, at the same speed,
even though vain fear faithlessly opposes.
But Peter, meanwhile in his cries,
knows he shall die or conquer.

In the relentless storm, [Peter] making the three denials,
in between waves of multiplying sorrow,
out pour pearls to pay for his life.

And so do not stop, winged vessel,
Make haste to the north.

Where gallant Peter arrives through the sea of his tempestuous proclamations, they hear of the happy, sacred seat he has taken in the high heavens.
