DESCRIPTION:
A Music Video by Country Music singer, and songwriter
J.R. Fowler.
The video for the song "Life's Just Like a Mountain" evolved after the 2015 death of a young Baltimore, Maryland man by the name of Freddie Gray. His death was believed by many to be caused by injuries he suffered during his arrest. The resulting community outrage. protests, and unrest was the catalyst to J.R. Fowler making the video . Therefore, the video is representative of a profoundly significant time in Baltimore's Civil Rights history.
J.R. Fowler dedicates the message of "Life's Just Like a Mountain" to all of the Brothers and Sisters in her hometown of Baltimore City, Maryland -------who are steadfast on the journey------fighting for respect-------and the acquisition of their equal civil rights.
