Here's a bit more on our interpreter "Paul started to learn sign language in 2001 after his niece was diagnosed as profoundly Deaf. Between 2007 - 2011, he completed two Postgraduate Diplomas in Interpreting. He recently undertook a Masters Degree by Research at Durham University. The research topic looked at the identity, culture and language of the Deaf gay male community. He has continued at Durham on a part-time PhD with a working title of 'The characteristics and disposition that gives rise to a greater number of females and gay men entering the sign language interpreting profession.' Paul continues to work as a Sign Language Interpreter in various domains. He has been interested in theatre interpreting since 2009 and has since interpreted a number of plays, pantomimes, musicals, cabarets and comedy nights. This is his first musical video and is delighted that is was for To Kill A King"
