DESCRIPTION:
Okami

heaven help me bind them
in their steps
and i don't care if
this is where i begin
the snake it starts to suffocate
from it's very own venom
we are naught but empty vessels
floating from the shore
we are simply underestimated from the start

i found you in
the last place i was looking
okami begins
to eat itself alive

everyone is given a second chance
even if they don't deserve it
and i don't really care, this is evidence
that the wolf is really the smartest out of everyone
and everytime i question my intentions
i'm left with nothing even close
to the answer i was looking for

as the creature escapes
and the vulture's feeding on it's family as it waits
what's left but the skin, the teeth, and the bones
and the faces of kings that sleep on their thrones
they're all alone

step back into this uninviting place
the edge of all we are is on display
i never thought that we could be replaced
refuse to stop now that we've got the taste
