Why do our music students recommend their friends and neighbors to us? Convenience, results and fun! Since 1990, Meridee Winters School of Music has inspired thousands of Main Line students with convenient, leading edge, in-home music lessons. Our energetic and upbeat teachers come to the privacy and convenience of your home. We have a playful and personalized music curriculum that was created by a school teacher who left the public school system and started her own methodology. We are not a musician referral service, nor a franchise - but a real school! We are the only music school in the area under the direction of a school teacher and musician; the only school in the area with its own published curriculum; the only school in the area that has a teacher-training program and monthly teacher workshops; and one of the only schools in the nation with a songwriting and improvisation curriculum.
Our playful yet practical approach is customized for each student's personality. Meridee's method offers you a unique mix of leading-edge materials and educational techniques, including over 600 pages of original materials: dynamic games, skill drills, creative activities and lesson books.
