DESCRIPTION: Perhaps his most celebrated piece, "Mr.Trinidad" is Maestro's thesis on the Trinidadian psyche, where one seems to ardently want and desire something, only to have that desire dissipate for one reason or another. This Trinidadian propensity for unfocused desire is explored by Maestro through the medium of raging political and social issues in 1975, when the calypso was performed. It all leads up to his central theme, that "Trinidadian just like plenty mamaguy".
Recorded live at the Kitch's Calypso Revue, Princes Building Grounds (site of present day NAPA) by legendary Trinidad radio personality Rocky McColin.
