Machine Head are on their way in the construction of their new album as they have made progress in some new material. Robb Flynn recently stated:
"We've been really productive writing-wise. As of last night we have 4 songs pretty much done musically, another 5 jams / half songs. The song we finished last night felt like it could be something really special. Phil has been on a riff roll, bringing some really unique sounding riffage and Dave McClain (our secret weapon) has brought some damn cool riffs to the table as well."

Kylesa is headlining an North American tour as they are set to release their new album "Ultraviolet" out May 28th. Blood Ceremony, White Hills and Lazer/Wulf are support.

Battlecross drummer Mike Kreger has left the band. The band has brought in Kevin Talley (Six Feet Under, ex-Chimaira) for this years 'New England Metal & Hardcore Festival' and the 'Orion Music + More' festival.
They have also started recordingtheir new album with producer Mark Lewis (DevilDriver, The Black Dahlia Murder). Wonder if Kevin will be with them for Mayhem Festival?

My Dying Bride have released details on their new EP - The Manuscript. The EP is set for release through Peaceville Records on May 13th on CD & vinyl. It will also have 4 new songs.

The album is titled Epitome Of Torture.
They are making a new video for the single "Stigmatized" which was recently finished.
The new album will be out in Germany on April 26th, in Europe on April 29th and in the US/Canada on May 7th through SPV/Steamhammer.
