LUTO

Banda originaria del Distrito Federal formada a raíz de la necesidad de expresión de cada uno de sus integrantes.
Los miembros fundadores son Rodolfo Valdez (Rudy) baterista y César Chavero ( Chess) guitarrista, ambos compositores y arreglistas de la agrupación.
Ellos se encargaron de buscar músicos interesados en el proyecto; es ahí cuando Alberto Solís y Mario Trejo (War) se unen a la banda, acoplándose en bajo y teclado respectivamente, en un principio interpretando covers , para más adelante e influenciados principalmente por la corriente romántica del rock Nórdico, comandada por bandas como H.I.M, The 69 eyes,To/Die/For, Entwine, Reflexion, Sentenced, así como una gran influencia del hard rock de los ochentas como Mötley Crüe, L.A. Guns,Skid Row,Poison,Ratt etc, darle un toque de seriedad a la banda.
Durante un lapso de 2 años César (Chess) estuvo a cargo del trabajo vocal, pero a finales del año 2005, Sebastián Escamilla se une a ellos aportando nuevos matices a la banda, y solidificando el proyecto.
Poco a poco se abrieron paso en la escena alternando con bandas de diversos géneros, y participando en un número importante de festivales. En 2007 tuvieron la oportunidad de ser parte del VI Festival Oscuro organizado por Dilemma y Eyescream Productions, en el que alternaron con bandas nacionales e internacionales, al igual que del I Festival Internacional Oscuro de San Luis Potosí en donde tuvieron la oportunidad de compartir escenario con el grupo italiano de gothic metal Theatres Des Vampires, así mismo formaron parte del Festival Xtremo de Guadalajara en su edición 2007.
Durante este tiempo también hubieron presentaciones al interior de la República , siendo estados como Guanajuato, Cuernavaca, Michoacán, Puebla y Tlaxcala, entre otros, testigos del paso de Luto en escenarios nacionales. Así mismo la banda tuvo la oportunidad de aparecer en algunos medios impresos, como lo son las revistas “Switch”, " Grita", “ Gótica” , “ Dark” entre otras y algunos periódicos estatales de donde LUTO se presentó.
En el Distrito Federal tuvieron oportunidad de presentarse en algunos de los foros más importantes, destacando el Hard Rock Live, Circo Volador, Foro Alicia, Dada X, Rock House México, entre otros.
La banda comienza el 2008 siendo parte del Mandragoras Fest, alternando con To/Die/for, Lacrimas Profundere,Clan of Xymox, Leaves Eyes y Atrocity, así mismo tuvieron la oportunidad de tocar junto a la banda estadounidense de Hard Rock Glam Pretty Boy Floyd en el mes de agosto.
Luto se desintegra en 2008, para dar paso al nuevo proyecto de Chëss y Rudy, acompañados de Draven y Richie: Nästii.

A band that hails from Mexico City and began due to the need of each band member to express himself.
The founding members are Rodolfo Valdez (Rudy), drummer and César Chavero (Chess), guitarist, both being the main songwriters.
They looked for people interested in the project. That's when Alberto Solís and Mario Trejo (War) joined the band, becoming the bass and keyboard players. In the beginning they did cover songs, and later on, influenced mainly by the romantic side of Nordic Rock, lead by bands like H.I.M, The 69 eyes, To/Die/For, Entwine, Reflexion, Sentenced, Lordi, and with great influence from Hard Rock scene with bands like Mötley Cruë, L.A.Guns, Ratt, Posion, among others, added a more serious touch to the band.
For 2 years César did the vocals, but towards the end of 2005, Sebastián Escamilla joined them, adding a new touch to the band, and solidifying the project with the current lineup.
Little by little they have been making their way into the music scene with bands from different genders, and performing in a good number of festivals. In 2007 they had the opportunity to be a part of the "VI Festival Oscuro" wich was organized by Dilemma and Eyescream productions, in wich they played alongside national and international bands, and also the " I Festival Oscuro of San Luis Potosí", where they were lucky enough to share the stage with the italian gothic metal band, Theatres Des Vampires. They also performed at the " Festival Xtremo" of Guadalajara in 2007.
During this time there have also been shows in the rest of Mexico, in states like Guanajuato, Cuernavaca, Michoacán, Puebla, and Tlaxcala, all bearing witness to Luto's journey on national stages. The band has also had the opportunity to appear in some written media, like the following magazines: "Switch", "Grita", "Gótica", "Dark", among others, and newspapers from some states Luto has performed in.
In Mexico City they have performed at some of the most important venues, among which The Hard Rock Live, Circo Volador, Foro Alicia, and Dada X most stand out.
The band starts out 2008 performing in "Mandragora's Fest", alongside To/Die/For, Lacrimas Profundere, Clan of Xymox, Leaves Eyes and Atrocity. They also performed with the USA hard rock glam band Pretty Boy Floyd on August.
At this time Luto doesnt exist more, but soon the new project of Chëss and Rudy will going to give you a lot of rock and roll ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ : Nästii.
