LuMarra / Mixash

LuMarra a.k.a Mixash: young dj singer of the new Salento dancehall scene with an explosive voice, he has already participated as guest at Rototom Sunsplash. He starts getting noticed through the numerous shows alongside one of the most historical and important Salentinian dj's: DJ WAR, one of the pioneers of S.S.S. They say of him that "whoever dares defy him returns home with their tail between their legs", a true warrior! Known and appreciated for the quality of his lyrics and the energy of his singing, he rapidly manages to conquer the consent of the Italian mass thanks to a style that has nothing to envy to that of his Jamaican colleagues! His first single "Janna sulu", is published on a compilation called Reggae Festival in 2002, while it is with the special on "Doctors Darling" riddim that he confirms his reputation and popolarity. Other important milestones are the tunes produced by Dj War on the mixtape WarProject among which "Fama te lekkini", and the 7 inch "Ganja War" on "PlayOn" riddim composed by MightyCez and released by Digital/WarSound. His latest hit on vinyl "Libere Liriche" is a combination with Mighty Cez, who is also composer of the beat, produced by Jamekya and Soulhearthquake. LuMarra a.k.a Mixash: dj singer della scena dancehall salentina dalla voce esplosiva, gia' ospite al Rototom Sunsplash.Comincia a farsi sentire dopo le numerose serate assieme ad importantissimi personaggi della scena reggae e hiphop come DjWar (uno dei pionieri dei S.S.S) e DjGruff.Conosciuto ed apprezzato per la qualita' delle sue liriche e per la energie canore, riesce in breve tempo a conquistare il consenso delle massive grazie ad uno stile che niente ha da invidiare a quello dei singer giamaicani!Il suo primo singolo "Janna a sulu" del 2002 sulla compilation ReggaeFestival, mentre fu sul "Doctor Darling" riddim a confermargli fama e popolarita' nella compilation di VitoVinicolo "DanceHallStudioVoume.1". .Numerosissime produzioni tra le piu' importanti i 7 pollici "Ganja War" prodotta da Segnale Digitale/WarSound, "Libere Liriche" una combination con Mighty Cez in cui e' anche compositore della base,la riuscitissima combo "Look Out" insieme a MamaMarjas targata Jamekya e Soulhearthquake ed ancora "Se Radica" una tune insieme a M.Cez prodotta da BizzarriRecords e "Antistress" prodotta da 90Degree sempre su vinile.Varie collaborazioni anche sul campo internazionale come quella assieme a PIONEAR (GermaicanRecords) su OPIUM riddim con il pezzo "Microphone Check" insieme a Mikelino sul quale cantano artisti di grosso calibro come BOUNTY KILLER, NATASJA and COBRA. Vincitore incontestato del THE BIGGEST ONE 2009 l ormai conosciuto "singers clash" che si svolge ogni anno in Salento il 25 dicembre al quale partecipano artisti provenienti da tutta Italia ora LuMarra e' pronto a partire nell'isola Giamaicana e collaborare con gli artisti di fama mondiale.Ora la fruttosa collaborazione che da qualche anno lo lega alla "Filomuzik records" lo ha portato alla pubblicazione di alcuni fortunati singoli, tra cui la devastante "you'll neva be my dj father" nonchè alla realizzazione di alcuni videoclip che hanno avuto notevole riscontro in tutta la penisola.
