Soooo, if you're following me on my journey... this week has got to be "by a mile" the saddest & most heartfelt cover I've shared on Youtube, so far! I had all kinds of feels going through my head, like Prince's passing, to how he must have felt when he'd perform this song, to who he thought about when he'd sing this song, to who "I" think about when I sing this song, and Boom! I have got to stop there!!! Feels, feels, feels for days!!!

Many of you comment about the passion I pour out through my sharing music with you. This is only to be matched to the DOPEST creativity and passion that my cousin Luke Aiono, pours through his baby that he so lovingly helps sing, from his fingertips! He's crazy talented right??? No joke, (because of our hectic schedules) we did this song 3 times! We went with the 2nd time only because it showed the most heart & passion.... the 3rd time sounded better, but we both agreed that we were just focusing on perfection that time... and not on feeling. So, enjoy our vulnerable little hearts!! The second one wins! : - )

Prince was a musical genius. A pioneer in his own lane. You might know 1 of his songs, or 30 of his songs. Either way, PURPLE RAIN was most like that ONE song. One of my musical inspirations, Prince joins my greats: the King (Elvis) the King of POP (MJ) and BOB (Marley) "Farewell to the Prince." Thank the Lord, I still have my Rock (Dwayne) my Queen (Gladys Knight) and the Legend (John) Thank you for your gift you shared with us all, Prince.
