Soma proudly present the 2nd instalment of the Transmissions series. After the successful start to the series in early 2015, this V/A EP sees 3 relative newcomers to the Techno scene come together to represent their own sounds on Soma. With the high volume of top quality productions Soma sees every day, but are unable to fit into what is a jam packed schedule for single artist release, the Transmissions brand jumped in and allowed the cream of the crop to be showcased under one powerful EP.

Italian producer Luca Agnelli opens up Transmissions Part 2 with his track Long Delay. Already a firm favourite in his homeland, Luca definitely looks like he’s ready to take on the world with his debut on Soma. Dubbed out stabs give a light quality to the track but with Luca’s thundering drum work out, it certainly makes for one peak time burner.
We also welcome another young Italian producer, Drafted, who has impressed with releases on MM Audio and also the amazing Balans series. He steps up next with his effort, Escluded, which shows real promise on the production front as he rips out a nicely crafted piece of work cutting quite the groove, backed with a subtly modulating synth hook that gives the track life.
The mysterious SLV rounds off the EP with the almost aptly named, Transition. A looped out, hypnotic vocal grinds across sub heavy kicks which have been expertly lined up against some thrashing percussive elements creating a grooving, solid dance floor killer.
