To my dear father - Today is not only to thank you and celebrate all that you've done for me, but everyone around you. You have sacrificed so much and lost so much of yourself over the decades, but even so, you never lost sight of me.

When my days are dark, it is the sound of your voice and laughter that makes my day brighter. It is your words of embrace that allows me to keep striving. Thank you for always holding my hand through the dark times and the good times.

I know I will never, in my life time, be able to repay you with the gratitude and appreciation you truly deserve but I hope you know that though distance separates us, you will always be a part of my life. I know words can never convey the emotions when written on paper, but it can certainly be reflected through the harmonizing of your melody and my harmony.
