Shot at the Breakaway, Mar Vista CA, April 21, 1989. One of the earliest Lowen & Navarro videos, with Eric Lowen and Dan Navarro on guitars and vocals, Charlie Colin on upright bass and Richard Dodd on cello. Charlie later went on to be the bass player in Train. The Breakaway was the hub of a small but vibrant scene of independent acoustic artists in the very late 80s. Lowen & Navarro got their start there, playing weekly for almost two years, 1988-1989. Thanks to Jay Tinsky for this video (and the original gigs!)
